Reporting
The reporting system within IDMS is second to none, ensuring that no product arrives at the prototyping stage with inherent problems due to design.
Evolving designs are regularly run through our virtual manufacturing system, so we can foresee any issues and keep the design on course to hit all the points of the product brief. With the level of insight we have, we can tell design engineers what they’ve changed from one iteration to the next before they can. More importantly, we can quickly demonstrate the effects those changes are going to have, such as increases in cost and timescales. This eliminates the potential for nasty surprises further down the line.
Naturally, we work with industry-standard software and tools, in particular the Aegis system. This lets us report back to the customer, and at the same time report on to the chosen offshore volume manufacturing partner, giving them a valuable insight into the product’s development.
