Jaltek recently took part in this year’s Defence and Aerospace Technology Roadshow — a two-week national tour organised by the Midlands Aerospace Alliance (MAA).

The event brought together leading UK suppliers and innovators, “on board a unique exhibition vehicle”. The vehicle visited a number of major defence and aerospace sites across the country such as Rolls-Royce, Safran Defence & Electronics, Parker Meggitt, Thales, Airbus and GKN.

For Jaltek, the roadshow provided a fantastic opportunity to present our full range of design and manufacturing capabilities directly to key customers. Exhibiting on site offered valuable face-to-face interaction - particularly to those who don’t often have the opportunity to travel - helping to raise awareness of our services and generate new business leads.

More than 20 businesses were represented in the exhibition vehicle, showcasing an impressive variety of products and technologies — from software and mechanical fixings to precision engineering, additive manufacturing, electronic manufacturing, and recruitment services.

Each host site also runs strong apprenticeship programmes, and the roadshow proved to be an engaging learning experience for many of the apprentices who visited. Their enthusiasm and curiosity added great energy to the event, and it was inspiring to see so much emerging talent in the sector.

Jaltek was delighted to be part of such a dynamic initiative that champions collaboration, innovation and supply chain strength within the UK’s defence and aerospace industries.
