Jaltek’s Steve Blythe recognised in Make UK’s 130 Honours
Jaltek is delighted to announce that Steve Blythe has been named in Make UK’s 130 Honours, recognising individuals whose achievements and leadership are helping shape the future of UK manufacturing.
Steve has been a driving force at Jaltek, championing collaboration and innovation across electronics manufacturing. His inclusion recognises his contribution to the business and the wider manufacturing community, alongside others making a positive difference across the industry.
The recognition also reflects the importance of sharing knowledge, supporting emerging talent and bringing people together to help manufacturing move forward — values that Steve champions through his work.
Commenting on the honour, Steve said:
“I’m surprised and honoured to be included in Make UK’s 130 Honours. I’ve been lucky to work with some fantastic colleagues and supportive mentors over the years, including at Jaltek, Make UK, Make UK Defence and across the wider manufacturing community. I owe a great deal to them for this recognition.
“The pace and variety of innovation make this an exciting industry to work in. One of the most rewarding parts of what we do is introducing the next generation to that excitement — working together to solve problems and seeing them grow as they progress in their careers.”
At Jaltek, encouraging the next generation to explore opportunities in engineering and manufacturing is an important part of our work. Steve’s enthusiasm for the industry and commitment to helping others develop reflect that ambition, as well as the collaborative approach that underpins our business.
Everyone at Jaltek congratulates Steve on this thoroughly deserved honour. We also thank Make UK and Make UK Defence for continuing to champion the people, skills and innovation that make UK manufacturing such a vital and exciting sector.
