Today marks the official launch of Women in TechWorks (WiTW) — a new initiative dedicated to empowering, connecting and supporting women across the UK’s technology and engineering sectors.

Back in the Summer when we first talked about this exciting new project from Techworks it was in its infancy (see here), since then there has been lots of work behind the scenes and it will be officially launched today during the Resilient IoT & TechWorks AI Conference — the world’s longest-running event focused on IoT security. This inspiring programme represents an important step toward strengthening inclusion and representation within the deep tech community.

The initiative is proudly sponsored by microTECH Global Ltd and the UK Electronics Skills Foundation (UKESF), and aims to drive meaningful change through real conversations, inspiring speakers and collaborative action.
