We’re delighted to announce that Grant Brown has joined the team as Senior Manufacturing Engineer, bringing with him more than 20 years of hands-on experience across electronics manufacturing, engineering, and production environments.

Prior to joining Jaltek, Grant played a key role in establishing the technical functions of his previous company from the ground up, where he set up a new Engineering department, developed processes, and specified and commissioned more than £1m of high-end capital equipment. His experience also includes overseeing areas such as New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change Control to support efficient transitions into production.

Beginning his career on the test bench, Grant has built extensive practical experience and knowledge across SMT production, manufacturing processes, machinery, customer and supplier engagement, and full-scale facility relocations. Having worked across both OEM and EMS environments, he brings a well-rounded perspective that bridges the gap between complex design and practical, high-quality manufacture.

In his new role, Grant will work closely with Jaltek’s teams to optimise production processes and support customer programmes from prototype through to full-rate production.
